Ulic Qel-Droma is form Star Wars and is owned by Disney.
Ulic was a Jedi who fell to the Sith, and was eventually severed from the Force. In his last years, he trained a young woman in the ways of the Force, and when he was killed, he became one with the Force despite having been severed and not ever having become a master of the Jedi.
It was theorized that he had, in teaching the young girl the ways of the Jedi, found true peace and reunited with the way of the Force.
